Summary:
Clark brings one of the most complete athletic profiles in the minors, with speed and center-field defense already separating him while the bat continues to mature. The hit tool is advanced for his age, built on bat-to-ball skill, zone awareness, and a direct swing that produces hard line drives to all fields. There’s very little wasted movement, and the contact quality consistently outpaces the surface power numbers. Ground-ball tendencies and occasional trouble catching premium velocity out front have capped the in-game impact so far, but the underlying exit velocities, strength gains, and early adjustments point to power growth coming rather than being absent. He’s a true plus-plus runner whose speed plays everywhere — from first-step reads in center to aggressive baserunning — and the arm strength gives him legitimate Gold Glove upside in the middle of the outfield.

Offensively, the foundation is already strong: low chase rates, limited swing-and-miss, and the ability to battle and adjust within at-bats. The approach leans hit-over-power right now, but the swing has enough looseness and leverage for doubles power to translate into more over-the-fence damage as he continues to learn which pitches to turn on and adds loft selectively. Defensively, there’s no projection needed — he’s a center-field lock with instincts, range, and body control that allow the athleticism to fully play. The overall profile points to a future five-category contributor whose long-term impact hinges on how much power ultimately shows up, but the floor is elevated by elite speed, defense, and a real hit tool.
