The fastball has climbed into the low-to-mid 90s and will touch higher, showing heavy arm-side life from a very low three-quarters to near-sidearm release. It isn’t just velocity — the pitch has real movement traits, missing barrels up when elevated and running in on right-handed hitters with intent. The operation is aggressive but repeatable, and he works with visible confidence on the mound. The breaking ball is the separator within the mix, flashing big sweep and high-spin traits in the upper-70s to low-80s with the ability to miss bats both in and out of the zone. He’ll also show a tighter, more vertical breaker at times, giving hitters a different look off the same slot.
