| Summary: Rizy is impossible to miss on the mound. The 6-foot-9 frame creates extreme leverage from a very low three-quarters slot, allowing mid-to-upper-90s velocity to play even firmer out of the hand. He’s worked 95–98 with more in the tank, generating both in-zone swing-and-miss and chase when elevated. The delivery features strong leg drive and extension, though the shorter arm action and low slot can lead to glove-side misses when timing drifts. When synced, the fastball looks like a potential double-plus offering simply because of angle, life, and release traits. The primary secondary is a sweeper in the low-to-mid 80s with real horizontal movement and late depth. At its best, it flashes plus with sharp tilt and bat-missing ability, but landing it consistently remains the key developmental hurdle. He’s shown a changeup earlier in his career, though it’s been used sparingly of late and remains behind the fastball/slider foundation. Right now, the arsenal leans power reliever, with a late-inning bully look if the strike rate stabilizes. If the command tightens and a viable third pitch takes hold, there’s room for the profile to expand beyond a pure bullpen role, but the high-leverage upside is already clear. | |||||||||||
