His fastball can get into the mid-90s with a ton of run that he compliments with an excellent curve, developing slider, and fringe change. When he is on the mound he is there with a mission as he gets the ball and goes, pitching with good pace. The delivery is smooth and repeatable, although he gets lazy in his follow through at times. | ||||

| Quick Report: The 2018 player of the year in the state of Illinois has pop times regularly sitting 1.95-2.05, but lack of accuracy makes it play closer to the 2.05 time. He has decent hands behind the plate and good feet, to go with the fact he moves like a catcher, he will likely have to stick behind the dish to keep up his value. He has smooth, relaxed hands at the plate and stays on top of the ball well but doesn’t clear his hips as well as I like which could cost him some power. Despite the concerns, there is a ton of upside and real power potential. | ||||

| Quick Report: There is no question as to whether Cronin is a starter or reliever, as he is pure reliever, but he could be a lights out closer type in time. He has a massive body bend that leaves his arm in almost an over the top slot despite it being low 3/4 in comparison to his body. There is a ton of effort, but there is also a ton of stuff. The fastball is not elite outside of the difficulty tracking it given the delivery, but his curve has shown signs of being a genuine plus pitch at any level. | ||||

He will never hit for a lot of power, but could develop into a solid lead-off man. | ||||

| Quick Report: A true over the top delivery along with long legs allows Campbell to get solid extension in his delivery, allowing his fastball to play up despite not being one that lights up any radar guns. He also mixes in a cutter, curve, and change, all of which he can throw for consistent strikes. He does not have the greatest of ceilings, but he has an extremely high floor and could be one of the quickest moving starting pitching prospects in this year’s class. | ||||

| Quick Report: Tim Cate was the UConn lefty scouts went out to see in 2018, but Mason Feole was the one they came back talking about. He struck out more than a batter per inning last season and showed success with the US Collegiate National Team over the summer. His delivery is unorthodox to say the least, with a head that bounces all over the place, a recoil with his landing leg, and an arm that comes whipping from well behind his back. He is likely a reliever long term, but he will have to be ineffective as a starter first, something he simply hasn’t been yet. | ||||
