| Summary: The Wake Forest pitching lab certainly worked for Luceford after spending time at Missouri to start his collegiate career. While he is a righty who largely works in the high-80s to low-90s, he popped 94 plenty this season and it really plays up overall thanks to good carry in the zone at nearly two feet of IVB. He mixes in two distinct breaking balls, but his best secondary is his changeup. The change is a plus offering as he tunnels well, and kills spins on it allowing it to have plenty of late dip. He is an undersized arm, he has an athletic delivery and could become a solid arm at the back of a rotation. | |||||||||||
