| Summary: A super projectable RHP from New Jersey, Harsch ranked 186 on the final 2025 draft board, but will make it to campus instead. Now he will get to work in the Wake Forest pitching lab where I expect his stuff to really take a step forward. The fastball is already a quality pitch up to 96 with plenty of sinking action. His best breaking ball is a low to mid 80s slider with solid two plane tilt, although it is more sweep than depth. He also mixes in a curve and change, although both those pitches are behind the fastball and slider at this time. His mechanics are solid as he works with good body control with a very long arm action into a 3/4 slot release point. Given the great projection in the frame and the smoothness of the delivery, he looks like a sure fire starter long term. | |||||||||||
