| Summary: Pence generated plenty of buzz this summer with standout performances at the Underclass Area Codes and the Perfect Game All-Star Game. At Area Codes, he worked 96–100 with an athletic, stretch-like delivery, finishing from a lower three-quarters slot. There is some mild head whack at release, but nothing overly concerning. At the PG event, it was the slider that stood out, operating 84–86 with late bite that produced some highly uncomfortable swings, including a notable one from Kinon Bastian. The pure stuff already stacks up with many of the premier arms in the 2026 class, though he remains two years younger and won’t be draft eligible until 2026. There’s also two-way ability here just as you would expect from Hunter Pence‘s nephew. Striker shows a quality swing with real power, particularly impressive given his longer frame. That said, the future is firmly on the mound, where his fastball–slider combination gives him frontline potential. | |||||||||||
