| Summary: Nance tallied just one start in his freshman season but proved to be a reliable multi-inning arm, logging 54 innings across 18 appearances. He filled the zone consistently, walking fewer than two per nine while striking out nearly nine, showing solid command with steady K numbers even if he’s unlikely to post eye-popping strikeout rates. The delivery is quick and compact from the first-base side, working out of a three-quarters to slightly lower slot. Velocity has jumped significantly since his draft summer, climbing from 89–93 into a steady 95–97 with plenty of life. The breaking ball is slurvy, flashing different shapes depending on the outing, but it shows best in the low-to-mid 80s with sharper two-plane bite. His changeup rounds out a legitimate three-pitch mix, sitting in the low 80s with late fade and depth.
