| Summary: Ayala is a legitimate two-way prospect with loud arm talent and real offensive tools. On the mound he works 91–95, touching 96, from a lower slot with plenty of life. The fastball plays at the top of the zone and sets up a sharp slider at 83–88 that shows two-plane break and spin rates up to 2,900 rpm, already projecting as a plus pitch.s. He’ll also mix a changeup and curveball with developing feel, and while his slot can wander, the arm speed and swing-and-miss stuff give him impact upside. At the plate, Ayala brings quick bat speed from the right side and shows doubles power with carry to the gaps. The swing is compact and produces consistent hard contact when on time, and the strength continues to trend upward. Defensively, he handles third base with easy actions and enough arm to stay on the left side, though the bat will ultimately decide his path, whether he stays two-way or leans into pitching. | |||||||||||
