| Summary: Morris, an athletic catcher and middle infielder from California is set to arrive in Stillwater in the fall of 2026. The athleticism is real, showing a smoot transition on the exchange and advanced footwork behind the dish. The arm is accurate and consistently delivers a sub 2.0 pop time. At the plate, Morris displays a simple approach, capable of gap to gap power, though does show more pop pull side. Displaying elite bat speed, Morris goes with a simple toe-tap approach while down in the count to deliver consistent contact. Well rounded on both sides of the ball, the upside with Morris is tremendous. Already a student of the game, Morris has the reputation of out working the opposition. With added size and strength which will come at the next level, Morris should be a name to follow as we head into 2026. | |||||||||||
