| Summary: Hart is a long-levered 6’6” lefty returning from injury who brings a deceptive low–three-quarters release and real matchup problems for left-handed hitters. His fastball works in the upper 80s to low 90s and has been up to 93, showing sink and tail created by a cross-body stride and low slot. The delivery adds natural deception, helping the fastball play above its raw velocity. He mixes a sweeping 77–81 mph slider that misses bats at a high rate and can manipulate its shape for both chase and in-zone use. The changeup at 82–85 shows enough fade to keep righties honest. The combination of slot, angle and a fast-improving secondary mix gives Hart clear projection. He already shows polish for his size, and as the strike-throwing continues to stabilize post-injury, he has a chance to grow into a high-leverage look or develop into a rotation piece if the fastball ticks up and the delivery repeats more consistently. The deception and sweepy slider are carrying traits, and the frame/athleticism suggest more to come. | |||||||||||
