| Summary: When Boshell is on time, the ball jumps off the barrel with ease. Real strength, violent bat speed, and a lofted path allow him to drive the ball with authority, especially to the pull side, and the damage potential shows up quickly once he gets extended. The approach is patient but not passive — he’s comfortable taking walks, yet aggressive when pitches leak into the heart of the plate. The swing can get noisy with the hands and lengthen at times, which creates some timing lapses against velocity, but the power foundation is legitimate and gives the bat real middle-of-the-order upside. Defensively, the profile points most clearly to first base, though he’s athletic enough to handle corner outfield reps if the routes tighten. The arm is solid and playable, and the run tool is closer to average than expected for the body type. He’s also shown arm strength on the mound, touching the low 90s, but the long-term value is clearly tied to the bat.
