Summary:
The offensive upside is obvious here, and it starts with how easily the ball comes off the bat from the left side. There’s natural strength, real bat speed, and the ability to impact the baseball with authority to all fields, not just when he cheats pull-side. When he’s on time, the contact quality jumps off the page, and the power projects comfortably into the middle-of-the-order range. The swing can get aggressive and fly-ball oriented, and pitch recognition — especially against better velocity — is still inconsistent, but the foundation of impact is already in place and trending in the right direction as he gains experience.

At the plate, the risk is tied almost entirely to approach and contact refinement rather than raw ability. Chase can creep in, and ball/strike recognition will be tested more aggressively as he climbs, but the bat speed and barrel feel give him margin for error. He’s shown flashes of adjusting within at-bats, and as the approach stabilizes, the power should play more consistently rather than in streaks. This is clearly a bat-driven profile, but one with enough feel to believe the hit tool can get to a playable level with time.

Defensively, it remains a developing piece rather than a finished product. Receiving has taken steps forward, and the arm is a legitimate strength that keeps him viable behind the plate, even as blocking and lateral mobility lag. The overall catching profile isn’t polished yet, but it doesn’t need to be elite for the bat to carry real value. If the defensive progress continues at even a modest pace, he fits as a regular catcher with impact offensive upside; if not, the power still gives him a chance to force his way into a lineup.
