| Summary: Tillery checks a lot of starter boxes early: athletic mover, loose arm, and present fastball life with room for more. The heater has been up to 94–95 and generally works in the low-90s with consistent arm-side run and solid spin traits, missing bats while also generating ground balls. He operates from a low three-quarters slot with good extension, getting deep into the back leg, though there’s still some untapped lower-half drive that could unlock another tick as he matures. The slider is the most reliable secondary right now, flashing sharp late bite in the low-to-mid 80s with the ability to vary shape into a firmer cutter look. A deeper curveball in the low-80s shows depth, and the changeup—thrown in the low-to-mid 80s—will flash tumble but remains developmental. With a long arm path, lean frame, and present strike-throwing foundation, the profile points toward a rotation future if the secondaries continue to tighten and the velocity gains materialize as expected. | |||||||||||
