2026 MLB Draft: Jack Bell, INF, TCU

Player: Jack Bell
School: TCUPosition(s): INF
Height: 6’0”Weight: 180Bats: LeftThrows: Right
Summary:
Hitting-wise, Bell is a scrappy bottom of the order presence who works at-bats and does a great job setting the table for the bats at the top. Not a ton of power in his approach, but consistently works deep into counts and makes pitchers earn whatever they get. He does have some whiff in his game, but gets on base at a solid clip thanks to a patient approach and his ability to work the count. If he can improve the power in his game, he could potentially rise up the batting order, but as of now, he should stay in the bottom third of the order.

Defensively, Bell is a solid option at second, third, or short, though his most likely landing spot is second or third. He has solid mechanics across the board, though probably doesn’t have the range for shortstop long-term. The arm is solid, the work rate is spectacular, and will always do what it takes to get his glove on the ball.
