| Summary: Johnson, a physical outfielder from Locust Grove finds himself on the rise after a strong 2025. The right hander shows a potential for plus power, especially to the pull side with elite bat speed through the zone. Johnson sets up with a wide, even stance and a more straight up and down leg lift. The barrel stays through the zone for a long period of time while demonstrating the ability to keep the hands inside with natural loft. Johnson has shown some swing and miss, though this part of his game continues to improve. He’s now showing the ability to hit to all fields. Johnson has above average speed in the outfield and on the base paths, logging sub 6.6 sec. 60 times. He works through the ball well with a solid arm strength. Currently projects as a corner outfield at the next level, though if refinement continues defensively, center field may be an option. Yet another athletic, projectable outfielder in a strong 2026 outfield class. | |||||||||||
