| Summary: Pantier, a third base prospect from Erie, Colorado continues to drive his stock with a monster 2026 campaign for the Senators. Through 39 games, the red-shirt sophomore has amassed a .486 BA, 15 HR’s and 73 runs batted in. Pantier is physical, showing the ability to drive the baseball to all fields. The right hander’s plate discipline and overall contact rate are just as impressive as his power production. He has struck out only 15 times on the year through 178 plate appearances. He starts with an open stance moving into a knee lift trigger getting things moving toward the middle. The approach allows him to recognize and stay back well on off speed offerings. Pantier also flashes the athleticism on the base paths, totaling 11 to date in 2026, doubling last years total with a month remaining in the regular season. A short stop in high school, Pantier has made the move to third base where he continues to improve defensively. He shows off a strong arm from multiple angles and improved range both to his left and right in his red-shirt sophomore season. A 2025 NJCAA Division I Baseball World Series All-Tournament team selection, Pantier has produced in big moments. Last season he hit behind Tyler Myatt, who amassed one of the more historic JUCO seasons in recent memory. This season, he is doing so as the focal point of the Senators offense. Pantier is garnering interest from a number of power four schools. Should he continue on his current trajectory, the likelihood of him making it to campus dwindles by the day. | |||||||||||
