| Summary: The fastball is what makes Clatur’s profile go. Sitting 91-95 and touching 97, the heater generates serious ride and arm-side life that consistently beats hitters — the shape allows it to get away with misses in the heart of the zone that most pitchers can’t afford. The slightly crossfire delivery and heavy back leg load create natural deception and a difficult release to track, and the athleticism and competitive edge give the overall package a poise on the mound that stands out for a prep arm. The breaking ball and changeup give him secondary options to build around. A sweeping slider in the upper 70s to low 80s has flashed depth and feel for shaping despite not being a natural spinner — the projection there is real as the pitch firms up.
