A big-bodied, workhorse frame with a clean, repeatable delivery, the fastball sits 90-94 and has touched the mid-90s with projection remaining as the physical development continues. The overall operation is efficient and the competitive, coachable makeup gives every developmental projection added credibility — the kind of pitcher who tends to maximize what he has and then find more. The changeup is the carrying secondary and the pitch with the most long-term upside — sinking action and feel that give him a legitimate weapon against opposite-handed hitters and a reliable put-away option when located well.
