Summary:
The arm speed and raw velocity are what drive the evaluation. A long-limbed, projectable frame with fast arm speed generates a fastball that has touched 98 and works 92-94 after the early innings with late tail — the extension allows it to play well at the top of the zone and the projection remaining in the lean frame gives the velocity trajectory more room to climb as the body fills out. The raw arm strength is genuinely loud for a prep arm from the Florida Keys.

The delivery is where the profile gets complicated. Head whack and effort in the operation give the profile a relief look that will need to be addressed to reach the starter ceiling — something to monitor rather than a disqualifying trait given the athleticism and projection in the frame, but a real mechanical task that needs to be cleaned up with professional reps. A slider and changeup are both works in progress with feel for spin giving the development path something to build from, though neither is a reliable offering at this stage. Syncing the delivery and giving the secondaries a consistent platform to develop from is the priority that will drive the role conversation.

The reliever profile is the more likely outcome where the fastball can operate at full intensity without the delivery needing to hold up over a full workload — and in shorter stints the arm speed and velocity give the profile genuine impact potential. The starter path remains open if the delivery tightens and the secondaries develop, and the projection in the frame gives the development timeline room to work through both.
