| Summary: Vigue made the move from Ann Arbor to Athens for the 2026 season and did plenty to up his stock this spring with the Bulldogs. He’s coming off a big time performance in Omaha, leading Georgia to a 2-0 elimination game victory over Texas. Vigue is a physical presence on the mound, standing 6’3″ and weighing in at 230 lbs. The fastball has been up to 97 mph but lives in the 92-95 mph range with heavy sink. He’s at his best when working low in the zone. He’s mixed in a cutter, which been in the low 90’s and has late glove side run. The out pitch is the slider, showing late bite, and at times displays sweeping action. He throws a firm change up (mid 80’s) that kills spin. It plays off of the sinking fastball well. The delivery is simple, gathering consistenly and riding the slope athletically. He comes from a lower three quarter slot which helps create the heavy sink we see. His arsenal primarily works east to west in the zone. In 2026 he logged 63 inns. where walks were down (36) and strike outs were up (77), all while doing so in the SEC. He has starter traits, though depending on the club that selects him, he could be a valuable piece out of the pen. Though on the older side for his class, Vigue has shown consistent development year of over year. He projects as an early second day pick in July. | |||||||||||
