A low left-handed slot with above-average extension giving the arsenal natural deception, working two distinct fastball shapes that serve different functions — a four-seamer that touches 96 with life and a steep approach that generates chase when elevated, and a two-seamer with pronounced movement away from right-handed hitters that produces soft contact and groundballs consistently. The ability to locate to both sides of the plate against hitters from either hand opens the full arsenal without platoon limitations, and a track record of attacking the strike zone as a full-time collegiate starter gives the profile a functional credibility that pure stuff alone doesn’t always provide. The slider shows solid lateral action but the command and consistency lag behind the primary offerings. The mid-rotation ceiling is grounded in a unique release profile, two effective fastball shapes and a developing secondary mix.
