| Summary: Gladchuk is a tooled up outfielder from Aledo and is committed to the University of Texas. He brings value and projection on both sides of the ball with plenty to get excited about. Defensively he’s experienced in all three outfield spots, though has a real chance to land in centerfield long term. Speed is a significant part of his game, seeing improved times year over year in the 60, most recently posting a sub 6.5. He’s a good route runner with room to improve while getting to top speed quickly. His footwork is clean working through the ball, transitioning into throwing very well. The arm strength plays anywhere, posting OF velos in the upper 90’s with accuracy. At the plate, Gladchuk works with a very simple operation. The set up is neutral with a slight trigger forward. Movement is minimal while the hands stay back. The bat speed is real with exceptional feel for the barrel. He’s developing pull side pop though has the presence to slap the ball the other way when the opportunity presents itself. Its a plus hit tool with a high ceiling. Gladchuk plays the game hard, putting pressure on the defense out of the box and on the base paths. As his tools continue to develop, the chance for him to impact the game both offensively and defensively remain high. Gladchuk has a high likelihood of rising on boards over the coming year, planting himself as a top prep outfielder headed into the 2027 draft. | |||||||||||
Eric Dillinger is currently the Head Baseball Coach at Erie High School, entering his 4th season as the Head Coach and 9th season overall. Dillinger was the pitching coach at Erie prior to becoming head coach. At the club level, he has coached nationally for multiple organizations including the Colorado Yard Dawgs, the Colorado Rockies Scout program, and USA Prime. Dillinger is also currently the General Manager for D-BAT NW Denver. In addition to his duties as GM, he is also a senior pitching instructor. He is certified in Rapsodo Pitching and is also Driveline Certified (Pitch Design). Beyond coaching on the field, Dillinger enjoys helping athletes in the recruiting process. He has helped over 40 athletes find homes at the next level.
