| Summary: The physical profile and raw tools give Danza a ceiling that is genuinely difficult to find in the prep outfield landscape. Explosive athleticism throughout the evaluation — speed, strength and frame all registering at or near the top of the class — and a power projection that has shown up in live action with loud contact quality that validates what the physical testing suggests. The power is the carrying tool and it’s real enough that the developmental work surrounding it hasn’t dampened the ceiling conversation. The profile carries meaningful uncertainty in both directions, but the tools give the upside every reason to be taken seriously. The swing tightening seen most recently is an encouraging development. Better rotational sequencing with a more controlled lower half and improved upper-body position have allowed the bat speed and leverage to show up more consistently — the result has been contact quality that addresses some of the swing-and-miss questions that surfaced on the summer circuit. Moving parts and timing inconsistencies remain areas of focus, but the trajectory heading into the draft gives reason for optimism that the refinements can continue alongside the physical development. Right field is the most likely long-term defensive home if the arm strength develops toward its potential — the athleticism and speed give the profile flexibility across the outfield, and the arm reads better in right field than anywhere on the left side of the infield. One of the younger players in the class with meaningful room still ahead physically — the ceiling is as high as any outfield prospect in the class if the mechanical work continues to take hold and the power carries the profile as the competition level rises. | |||||||||||
