| Summary: After a very solid first season with the Commodores, Tommy Goodin took it up a notch this summer in the CCBL. With an OPS of .881 and two Player of the Week awards to his name, Goodin firmly cemented himself as a player to watch for this year and beyond. With the bat, Goodin has flat-out hit wherever he has gone. He has a fast, twitchy swing with active hands and wrists that allows him to spray line drives to the pull side with authority. He also has a knack for the long ball, hitting 17 total in 2026 across his time with Vanderbilt and Yarmouth-Dennis. He does strike out quite a bit, so figuring out the swing-and-miss will be an important step for him to take as he moves forward. Defensively, Goodin is likely to stick at first base, as he is not the most mobile of players. However, he does handle the position well. | |||||||||||
