| Summary: Younger brother of Brewers INF prospect Cooper Pratt, Quincy is carving out his own lane with his physicality and polished right-hand swing. He had a great showing at the 2026 Area Code with great quick-release throws that carry effortlessly to the bases and good mobility for a 6’4” catcher. Pratt’s tall frame is lean and athletic, and shows potential to add size as he matures. He has shown potential at a few different positions throughout his high school campaign, but has found his fit behind the dish. With his agility and arm talent, he can be a highly valuable backstop. The sizable senior has already filled out his frame a bit and seems to have great feel for leveraging his length. Athletic ability shows in the swing. He sets up in a wide, balanced stance with a simple leg lift load. Swing is consistent and repeatable, with violent torque and quick-twitch firing that easily provides hard-hit balls to the gaps. Compact stroke with level swing path to and through the baseball, keeping the barrel through the zone and allowing himself to find the barrel in all quadrants. The 2027 grad shows promise as an elite defensive catcher with a big league frame, baseball bloodlines, and productive right-handed bat. His upside should attract much attention from Major League clubs, especially due to the defensive value he can provide at his position. | |||||||||||
