| Summary: The stuff isn’t overwhelming yet, but the traits are real and the projection makes this a profile worth watching closely. A powerful, physical build with an explosive lower half that gives the velocity trajectory genuine credibility — the fastball is already working in the low-to-mid 90s and has reached the upper end of that band, and the frame strongly suggests more is coming as the physical development continues. The extension is well above average and gives the pitch a playing quality that goes beyond the movement profile alone — hitters have consistently struggled to pick it up, which is an encouraging early sign for what happens when the velocity takes the next step. The changeup is the secondary that keeps the mid-rotation ceiling in the conversation. A pitch that has shown genuine ability to disrupt timing and generate late vertical action — already functioning as an above-average offering and trending toward plus with continued reps. It gives the fastball a natural complement and the profile a genuine two-pitch foundation to build from. The breaking ball situation is the developmental challenge — both the slider and curveball are in the arsenal and both flash at times, but the shapes are inconsistent enough between the two that neither has emerged as a reliable third offering. That lack of a committed, dynamic breaking ball is the real concern alongside the fastball shape, and resolving both is what separates the bullpen from the rotation. The bullpen risk is genuine if the breaking ball doesn’t develop into something more defined — the fastball-changeup pairing alone is a high-leverage foundation rather than a rotation one. The mid-rotation ceiling is real and stays alive as long as the physical development continues to unlock velocity and the breaking ball takes meaningful steps.
