| Summary: After an exciting freshman campaign with Delgado CC and a solid summer in the NECBL, Sebastian Rhoades heads to Tulane with a lot of momentum going into his sophomore campaign. With an advanced hit tool, solid power, and above-average defense on the left side of the infield, Rhoades should be a pick to click for the Green Wave in 2027. With the bat, Rhoades proved that he can hang with some of the top talent in the country this summer, hitting .277 in the NECBL and being named an All-Star as well. He certainly has an active presence in the box, with a lot of moving parts in the swing, but is able to sync up well and drive the ball to all fields with authority. He makes a ton of contact, and is continuing to build power into his game. In the field, Rhoades can play both SS and 3B, but is probably destined for 3B long-term. He has a strong, consistent arm, and has good instincts and solid range wherever he plays. | |||||||||||
