| Summary: Cholowsky was among the best defensive shortstops coming out of the prep ranks in 2023, and was quite a bit of a surprise to see him make it to UCLA, but he did to help raise his stock with offensive improvement. His freshman year was a good start to that as he hit over .308 with solid extra-base power. He has very good bat control in the box and a quality approach. The power is currently fringy as he is very much a line drive hitter, but there is still some projection in the frame and he could turn into easy average home run power in time. | |||||||||||
