| Summary: Piano is a high IQ and instinct ballplayer whose sum is greater than the individual parts, but those parts are still pretty darn good. He has solid command of the zone with a sound approach and more pop in the bat than he often gets credit for. He is more of a gap hitter with a line drive approach, so the home run numbers don’t jump out, but he has a ton of extra base potential in the bat. His size and overall quickness leaves some questions about his ability to stick at short, but his footwork and instincts could allow him to stay there. If he does ultimately move, he has enough arm for third but will need to put more loft on the ball and show home run potential to fit the profile. | |||||||||||
