| Summary: Despite some length to the swing, Peeples is able to clear his hands well and make enough contact. There are some swing-and-miss concerns for sure, but the whip in the bat creates bat speed to handle velo well and has shown the ability to really drive the ball both currently and with raw power projection. The wheels are inconsistent, putting up above-average run times periodically, but overall it is an average tool that neither helps nor hurts his game. While he shows good instincts in center now, his future is likely on a corner, where I think he profiles best in left as his arm won’t ever be the strongest on a team. Ending up in left puts more emphasis on the bat, but there is enough upside there I would not blame anyone who decides to pick him high enough to sign him. | |||||||||||
