| Summary: White is very much a unique profile as he is not your traditional second base look. While he will see time at short at Arizona, his pro position will almost certainly be second due to the lack of arm strength. He has solid range and actions to stay in the dirt, although he is no burner and does not add much value on the bases. Therefore the upside is reliant on the bat, where there are certainly mixed results and opinions. There are far too many moving parts in the swing with a big leg kick and plenty of coil and bat tilt. This allows him to really generate bat speed which contributes to his borderline plus power. The issue is consistently getting to it in game against the best arms. Those moving parts leave him susceptible to elite velocity and he can struggle to make consistent contact. | |||||||||||
