| Summary: One of the better bats to make it to campus in 2023, Wiggins did not get a ton of playing time in 2024 due to a stacked outfield at Indiana, but he made the most of his opportunities. He finished the year with the same number of walks as strikeouts and a slugging percentage of .545. He does not get cheated at the plate, as he attacks with big hacks, but the bat stays in the zone a long time allowing him to make plenty of contact. He does step to the 1B side some and can get beat on the outer half, something that definitely needs to be ironed out to reach his full potential. All but one of his starts were as a DH a season ago, with that one in the field coming in right field where he has enough arm, although there is still a chance he can find his way into center field. | |||||||||||
