| Summary: The 2024 class is littered with arms with big stuff that lack a track record of staying healthy. Ware is another, as he spent the past two seasons at Pearl River CC as one of the top JuCo prospects, but ultimately went undrafted both seasons after missing time and only putting in 32 innings in two years. He has a high leg kick and fires from a 3/4 slot with a quality fastball that sits 91-93 with good downhill action and has been up to 96. He tunnels a solid change in the low-80s with some fade and is a pitch he really started to show solid feel for early in 2024. His best pitch is a hammer 11-5 curveball in the upper-70s that will get north of 3k spin rate. He is a strike thrower, although he can catch too much of the plate at times, so it is more control over command currently. A full season in the weekend rotation for LSU could turn Ware into an early round pick in July. | |||||||||||
