| Summary:A career ERA of 10.29 and WHIP of 2.115 coming into the 2025 season are not exactly the numbers you expect to see from a top prospect, but the pure stuff is impressive and there are scouts who firmly believe big things are ahead. His fastball has steadily improved and was up to 97 this fall, while sitting 94-95 with decent life. He has two breaking balls, the best of which being his curveball with a hard downward break that is a true swing and miss pitch. He also has a change that projects as an average offering, giving him a genuine starter’s pitch mix. That said, he has gotten the ball to start just three of his 29 games for Gonzaga, and walks about 6.5/9. There is a ton of potential here to really climb draft boards this spring, but there is still a ton of risk in the arm too. | |||||||||||
