| Summary: Louisville has had some real success with two way guys who make it to campus lately, as Patrick Forbes has become one of the more impressive Friday night arms in college baseball, they have another stud in Davis. While Forbes became a PO, Davis looks more likely to be an impact player at the plate more so than on the mound. With an old-school no batting glove style and doesn’t even tape up the bat, Davis can absolutely mash. He may have the most raw power of anyone in the 2027 class, and it isn’t just raw, as it plays in game. There is plenty of swing and miss, so he will need to reel that in to take full advantage of the massive power. On the mound he has a quality three pitch mix with more of a reliever look. I like him most at the plate as it is hard to find many guys who you can easily put a 70 on the power tool. | |||||||||||
