| Summary: Mitchell has a ton of projection in his frame with long lanky limbs. There is a ton of athleticism in his delivery, where he sets up on the 3B side of the rubber and creates good cross body action despite coming from a high 3/4 slot. He has a shorter arm stroke with a quick arm creating plenty of deception. His fastball sits in the low 90s but gets up to 94 with nearly a 18” of IVB while his 11-5/12-6 curve that sits 79-82 flashes plus. His change is a distant third offering currently, but it has plenty of arm-side fade in the mid-80s and shows real potential to be at least an average offering, He shows better command than most preps and some pitchability, combined with the massive projectability this is a lefty arm with a ton of potential. | |||||||||||
