| Summary: A 19th round selection by the St. Louis Cardinals in 2024, I had him ranked as prospect number 160 on my final big board. He did not sign, instead the Toronto native headed down to Gainesville and has made an immediate impact in the Florida lineup. Currently seeing most of his time at first, he has seen time at second and third while his prep days were spent at short. Staying up the middle is probably not in his future, but the arm could be enough to become a quality third baseman. Even if he does ultimately settle at first, the bat will play. He has a violent swing that is built to do damage but with enough control and bat speed to keep a hit tool that is above-average. Early signs are betting on himself and heading to campus was a good decision, as he is absolutely trending in the direction of being a potential first round pick, but obviously a ton of time before we get there. | |||||||||||
