| Summary: A big riser this spring, he really opened eyes when he pumped his fastball up to 96 with some tail at Area Code Select back in February. He snaps off a solid slider in the lower 80s, but his best pitch is an unfair change. Working in the high-70s to low-80s, there is a ton of separation off his fastball while still tunneling well, but it has an absolute ton of run and dip. There is certainly plenty of reliever risk here as he has quite a bit of torque through his body in the delivery and that body will get out in front of the arm too often. He does have a loose arm despite the long levers and he hides the ball well, so a future in a rotation is certainly not out of the question. | |||||||||||
