| Summary: Becker has played all over the infield with the majority of his games having come as the shortstop for Virginia. That said, I don’t see him sticking at the 6 in pro ball, instead I think he fits best as a third baseman long term. He has enough arm for the position and the glove that makes him a solid college shortstop could make him a very good defensive third baseman. He fits the profile at the position with the bat too with a direct, quick bat, he makes plenty of contact. He has a very hitterish look to him although he can get a bit stiff in the box at times and he will expand the zone. He has a line drive swing that allows him to drive the ball to all fields and there is still projection left in the frame that should allow him to add more strength and power in future years, especially if he moves to the hot corner full time. | |||||||||||
