| Summary: Sorrel missed the first half of the 2025 season to injury, but put up more home runs than he did in 2024. Defensively, he has made a number of highlight reel grabs in both left and right field for the Aggies, but the bat is the calling card. He is still rather lean but that doesn’t seem to limit his power ability. He can drive the ball to all fields thanks to a good bat plane and plenty of bat speed. He has a mild leg lift that he does vary depending on pitcher and count, but gets it down and syncs it well with the rest of his body firing. There is a good fluidity with the swing and the bat stays in the zone a long time, but he will expand the zone a bit too often. | |||||||||||
