| Summary: Paulino is not a prospect that could sneak up on anyone, as he was on the always loaded IMG Academy squad that will have several names called on draft day. On the dirt he is limited to third base, but should be able to stick there just fine too. He really developed more in the power department heading into the spring and should develop into at least average power if not a little more in time. The power comes to the pull side, although he does a really good job staying inside the ball and will get base hits all over the field. The stance starts quite open, but the load and stride is more controlled than you would think at first glance and he has an advanced approach. The projectability here is somewhat limited, so the ceiling isn’t massive, but it would be no surprise if he turns into a guy who has a long quality big league career. | |||||||||||
