| Summary: Louisville has been a catchers factory in recent years and Klein is the latest in that line. He is not going to be a guy with the upside of Henry Davis or Dalton Rushing, and his future may be as the number two catcher on a team, but his bat would keep him on the favorable side of a platoon. He is solid behind the dish but none of his tools really wow you. At the plate, he has a contact first swing that allows him to adjust to a pitch in any section of the zone, although he will expand it a bit too often. The power will never get beyond average if it ever gets there, but he is a guy who is greater than the sum of his parts. By all accounts he is a real leader and would be the type of fit who is never going to be the flashiest of players, but could truly stick on big league rosters for a decade. | |||||||||||
