| Summary: The Hoosiers had one of the more productive freshman classes in college baseball in 2025, and nobody shined brighter than Hanley. In a lineup loaded with draft talent, Hanley found himself right in the middle of the order where he launched 14 long balls with an OPS of 1.004, earning him Big Ten freshman of the year. The big lefty bat has easy plus raw power that he was able to get to in games with some frequency. The biggest power naturally comes to the pull side, but he can leave the ballpark from pole to pole. The hit tool won’t be a carrying tool, but it shouldn’t be a negative either, which is good because the value will all come from the bat as his defensive profile is that of a first baseman. | |||||||||||
