| Summary: Looking for a power arm, you have found one in Andersen. Working from a 3/4 slot from the first base side of the rubber, he has an easy delivery with mild leg drive but a lightning quick arm. He gets on top of his fastball well as it sits in the mid-90s and been up to 98, but there is still projection in the frame. His best secondary offering is a filthy changeup that has good late dip and fade in the mid 80s. He shows both a curveball and slider, although I like the slider best around 80-82 with solid depth. The curve does not have a significant velo difference from the slider, but has much more downward bite. I wouldn’t be surprised to see him scrap one of the other and really focus on manipulating the shape of the breaker he chooses, where it could develop into a solid average offering. | |||||||||||
