| Summary: Marsten was a highly regarded prospect in the 2024 draft coming out of Harvard-Westlake, but chose to attend Wake Forest where he will be a draft eligible sophomore in the 2026 class. He had Tommy John surgery in high school and battled other injuries as well that really impacted his sophomore and junior years, then got just 10.1 innings for Wake in 2025 before heading to the Cape, where he looked solid. The stuff is real, coming from a low slot with low effort, the loose and whippy arm sits into the mid-90s and has touched triple digits in the past. He has an above average slider in the low to mid 80s, and a changeup that shows above average too in the mid to upper 80s. If he can stay healthy and earn a spot in the rotation for 2026, this is an arm that could really rocket up boards. | |||||||||||
