| Summary: Sharman attacks from a low 3/4 slot, and attacks is the proper word here. Not only does he throw plenty of strikes but he is a real competitor and is not afraid to fight to stay on the mound. The fastball is a really heavy pitch with a ton of run working 91-94. His best pitch though is the changeup into the mid 80s that has a ton of fade and tumble and uses it in any count. Not only does he use it in all counts, he is not afraid to repeat the pitch multiple times as he has a ton of confidence in the pitch, and rightfully so. He has a slider with late sharp two plane break, but the arm slot does vary slightly on the pitch and that will need to be ironed out for him to have success with it at the next level, be it at Georgia or as a pro. The profile currently is a strike throwing fastball-changeup pitcher, but getting that slider to become at least a fringy offering will allow both pitches to play up. | |||||||||||
