| Summary: Brings plus athleticism and a quick lefthanded stroke that produces line drives to all fields with emerging pop. Swing is compact with a smaller leg lift and efficient hip action, giving him real bat speed, while his hands work cleanly through the zone to adjust late. At times he’ll drift out front against spin, creating some swing-and-miss, but the overall contact skills and strike-zone awareness point to a hit-over-power profile with room for more impact as he gets stronger. Speed drives the rest of Davis’s game. Already a plus runner—posting 4.4 on a turn—and his aggressive style puts pressure on defenses both on the bases and in the field. With the arm strength and range to handle center field, he’ll just need to sharpen his reads and routes to stick long term. | |||||||||||
