| Summary: Sperandio is a strong-bodied righthander with a heavy, lively fastball that sits 91–95 and touches higher. He creates run and sink from a very low three-quarter slot, giving the pitch an almost changeup-like look despite its velocity. The fastball overwhelms hitters and allows him to attack both sides of the plate with confidence. He pairs it with a breaking ball in the upper-70s to low-80s that blends slider and curveball traits, spinning up to 2,800 rpm with two-plane action and swing-and-miss potential. A changeup has flashed as a usable third offering, though it is less consistent at present. With his arm strength, deceptive slot, and ability to generate movement, Sperandio profiles as one of the more difficult at-bats in the class and carries starter potential if the command continues to sharpen. | |||||||||||
