| Summary: White’s offensive game is built around loud contact and plus raw power, with quick hands and bat speed that allow him to drive the ball to all fields. His swing is unorthodox but rhythmic, using a wide base, toe-tap timing, and heavy hip rotation to generate loft and carry. When locked in, he shows advanced barrel control and surprising ability to go the other way, though the swing can get long and exploitable. A high chase rate limits on-base production and leaves him vulnerable against spin and quality velocity at times, making approach refinement the key to unlocking everyday value. Defensively, White is a below-average runner with limited lateral range, though his hands and arm strength keep him in the mix at third base for now. He has shown more body control and agility than his frame suggests, giving him an outside chance to stick, but most evaluators, including myself, expect a shift across the diamond to first base. Wherever he plays, the bat will have to carry the profile. If he makes enough contact, the raw juice gives him middle-of-the-order power potential; without it, he risks settling as a role player whose defensive limitations put enormous pressure on the bat. | |||||||||||
